This meeting brought together Mesquite community partners—including behavioral health, the public library, senior services, workforce development, and state aging and disability services—to coordinate and share updates. Participants reviewed the new MesquiteLife.com website as a central hub for interagency meetings, a community calendar, and a growing resource directory, and discussed refining categories (including government and veteran services) and improving listings. Gino from the State of Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division highlighted the Office for Consumer Health Assistance (OCHA) and related programs that help Nevadans of all ages navigate health insurance, billing issues, appeals, and access to practical resources, with limited last-resort financial support for those 60 and older.
